Project planning
Plan environmental testing before renovation
Plan asbestos, lead paint and mold evaluation before kitchen, bathroom or drywall work in Panama City and the Florida Panhandle.
Start with the work you are planning
A kitchen remodel, bathroom renovation or drywall replacement can involve several materials and different testing questions. Describe the rooms, surfaces and proposed changes when you contact Raven. Share the building age if known, photographs taken without disturbing materials, prior inspection reports and your intended construction schedule. This helps the team discuss a testing scope that relates to the actual project.
Choose the evaluation that answers your question
Asbestos testing addresses suspect building materials. Lead-based paint testing addresses painted surfaces. Mold assessment and testing addresses suspected mold and related property conditions. These services answer different questions; booking one does not automatically include the others. Ask which locations, materials, sampling and written results are included in the proposal.
Connect the findings to the renovation scope
Testing and removal are separate stages. Once information is available, discuss whether asbestos abatement, lead-safe renovation or mold remediation needs to be coordinated with the planned construction. Confirm the responsible parties and project-specific credentials before work is scheduled.
Prepare for your project conversation
- Identify the property city and whether it is occupied.
- List the rooms and surfaces affected by the proposed work.
- Share existing reports and any access restrictions.
- Explain whether you need testing only or a proposal for later repairs.
