Lead-Based Paint Testing

- Discuss the testing scope, access arrangements, and any existing paint inspection reports.
- Review the findings and discuss your next steps before arranging any separate renovation or remediation work.
Common question
Do you offer paint testing as a standalone service?
Yes. Raven offers Lead-Based Paint Testing separately from renovation work. Call to discuss the surfaces you need tested and arrange service.
For properties across the Florida Panhandle, check our service area information and call to confirm scheduling.
Understanding the service
Information for your renovation decisions
Lead-based paint testing evaluates selected painted surfaces to help inform maintenance and renovation planning. Homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients can request testing as a standalone service. Explain whether your concern involves a specific surface, an upcoming renovation, or a documentation requirement.
Agreeing on the testing scope
Discuss which surfaces will be evaluated, the proposed testing method, access needs, and the reporting included. A result for one surface does not necessarily describe every painted component in a property. The team can explain the scope and limitations before you schedule.
Planning the next step
Paint testing, a lead risk assessment, renovation, and abatement answer different questions and may require different credentials. Raven’s EPA RRP firm certificate covers renovation, repair, and painting; project-specific testing credentials and methods should be confirmed separately. Share existing reports and proposed work so the appropriate service can be arranged.
What to have ready when you contact us
Your city, property type, affected areas, reason for requesting service, preferred timing, and any existing inspection reports help us prepare for the conversation. Describe access restrictions and whether the property is occupied. We will discuss scope and scheduling before arrangements are finalized.
