Sewage cleanup in Panama City & the Florida Panhandle

Sewage-contaminated water cleanup for homes and commercial properties from Apalachicola to Pensacola. Confirm safe access, affected materials and cleanup scope with Raven.

Planning your sewage cleanup project

  1. Describe the property, affected areas and purpose of the service.
  2. Share existing reports and confirm authorized access.
  3. Agree on scope, documentation, scheduling and payment responsibilities before work.

Common question

Should I treat sewage water like a clean plumbing leak?

No. Report the suspected sewage source before any visit. Keep people and pets away from affected areas and discuss access and contamination conditions directly with Raven. Cleanup and material decisions require a property-specific scope.

For properties across the Florida Panhandle, check our service area information and call to confirm scheduling.

Tell the team what entered the property

Describe a toilet overflow, drain backup or suspected contaminated intrusion without entering an unsafe area to investigate. Say when it was discovered, which rooms were affected and whether the source is still active. If a plumber or utility has already attended, share what was completed and any restrictions on use.

The source repair and the interior cleanup may be separate responsibilities. A cleanup request does not include an assumption that Raven is repairing a sewer line or resolving a public utility problem. Confirm who stops the source and when it is safe for the agreed work to begin.

Define removal, cleaning and drying boundaries

A proposal should identify affected surfaces and materials, access arrangements, equipment needs and disposal responsibilities. Describe contact with wall bases, cabinetry, flooring and stored contents. Salvage decisions depend on the material, exposure and condition; photographs alone do not establish that every item can be retained.

Plan restoration after contaminated-water cleanup

Replacing drywall or flooring is a later decision after the cleanup and moisture conditions have been addressed. If removal would disturb suspect asbestos-containing materials or painted finishes, provide existing surveys before demolition is planned. Testing and appropriately scoped handling remain separate considerations.

Commercial and managed-property coordination

For a rental, business or facility, identify the authorized property contact and any operating restrictions. Discuss sensitive incident details privately by phone. For insurance-related work, retain photographs, scopes and invoices; coverage and payment remain subject to policy terms, carrier approval and written authorization.
