Project planning
Choose the right starting point for a mold concern
Practical mold assessment planning for Florida Panhandle property owners: scope, access, documentation and questions for Raven.

Start with the property and the decision ahead
A musty odor, visible staining and a recent leak are useful information for an inquiry, but they do not establish the same testing scope. Describe the moisture history and which decision you need to make: whether to investigate an area, plan cleanup or supply documentation to another party.
What to clarify before work is scheduled
Raven offers a free visual mold inspection. Laboratory sampling, testing and written assessment reports are quoted separately. Ask which rooms can be viewed and whether an independent licensed assessment is needed. A visual visit does not establish the conditions inside every wall or replace an agreed sampling and reporting scope.
Costs, approvals and project records
Provide photographs, leak dates, prior testing and cleanup records. Identify who will receive the findings and ask when any separately commissioned report will be available. Mold assessor license reference MRSA3240 and remediation license reference MRSR3415 are listed on Raven’s credential page; confirm the applicable professional and independent roles.
