Start with the property and the decision ahead
Describe the damaged walls or ceilings, the moisture source and work already completed. Drywall replacement following a leak should be coordinated with the condition of the underlying assembly. Tell Raven whether insulation, framing, cabinets or adjoining finishes are also affected.
What to clarify before work is scheduled
Discuss whether testing, mold services, drying or selective removal must precede new drywall. The removal boundaries and finish expectations should be identified in the proposal. A repair in one area does not automatically include repainting an entire room or replacing unrelated assemblies.
Costs, approvals and project records
Ask about substrate readiness, board replacement, joint finishing, texture matching and painting responsibilities. Existing finishes may vary, so discuss the intended repair result before materials are ordered. Keep drying records, testing reports and approved changes with the repair scope.
